The Extraordinary Importance of the Visual Arts: Painting and Drawing in the Waldorf High School and Beyond
This one-day workshop for adults will explore the powerful influence the visual arts have on us and their importance in the education of the child and young person-with particular emphasis on adolescent development. The morning session will review a healthy education in visual intelligence and pictorial language. This will include some drawing and pastel painting exercises. In the afternoon session we will continue our work with a further artistic in-depth practice of the high school visual arts curriculum.
