Re: Suspension of Classes due to Transport Strike
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Please be advised that Sta.Rosa LGU has posted an official announcement regarding the suspension of all face-to-face classes of all public and private schools due to the nationwide transport strike tomorrow, Monday, November 20.
The respective Main/Sponsor teachers shall coordinate any home work and/or school work.
Administration office will be open from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M.
We shall pursue for exemption in case the suspension of classes/transport strike extends beyond.

Also, it has come to our attention through our Teachers and Parents that a number of students are ill and/or are manifesting symptoms of illness. Kindly inform your Main/Sponsor Teacher as soon as possible so that they can assess the situation in their class/es.
Students who are ill and/or manifest symptoms of any illness need to stay at home until they are fully recovered.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Please be advised that Sta.Rosa LGU has posted an official announcement regarding a suspension of all face-to-face classes due to a nationwide transport strike on Monday, October 16.
Last school year’s transport strike lasted for 1 week.
For Monday, let us just use this opportunity to rest and recharge. We shall pursue for exemption in case the suspension of classes/transport strike extends beyond Monday.

Re: Michaelmas Obstacle Course and Faculty and Staff Fundraising Concert
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We will have our annual Michaelmas Obstacle Course, as well as a launch of Acacia’s 20th Anniversary on Friday, September 29.
Students from Classes 1 and up will take turns to go through an obstacle course on campus specially prepared by Class 9. All students can be picked up from school at 12:30 P.M.
Some obstacles will allow the students to get muddy and/or wet. Here are a few reminders:
1. We suggest for your child to wear comfortable outdoor attire, such as jogging pants/leggings, a plain dark color loose shirt, and washable footwear.
Please have them pack a bath towel, an extra set of clothes and underwear, and a bag for soiled clothes.
2. Students may have a quick rinse at the school’s designated areas before they go home. They are advised to have a more thorough shower as soon as they get home.
Families and older children are also invited to support and watch our first faculty and staff fundraising concert at the Farm Shed at 6:00 P.M. on Friday.
There will be food for sale at school right before the concert.
To protect the students’ anticipation for this event, we ask our parents not to discuss details of the obstacle course to your children. Your child’s Main or Sponsor Teacher will share more details with the respective classes.

Re: New AWS Vehicle Stickers
Dear AWS Community,
We are pleased to inform you that new AWS vehicle stickers for SY 2023-24 are now available at the Administration Office. Please look for Madelle and kindly submit the following requirements in order to avail of the AWS vehicle sticker:
1. Photocopy of OR/CR of each vehicle
2. Signed Application Form (available at the school guard)
3. ₱200 payment for each vehicle sticker
4. We have 2 kinds of vehicle stickers now, for inside the windshield and/or for outside the windshield. Please indicate which kind of vehicle sticker you prefer. 5. Please take note that only enrolled families and AWS employees may avail of AWS vehicle sticker/s.
Ms. Madelle will be at the Administration office to assist you at these times:
Mondays-Fridays
8:30-9:30 A.M.
12:30-1:30 P.M.
3:00-4:00 P.M.
You may alternatively drop off all the requirements inside a sealed envelope with the guard-on-duty outside the Administration office and claim your new AWS vehicle sticker at the Administration office after 1-2 work days.
Last school year’s AWS vehicle stickers will be valid until August 31, 2023.

Please be guided by our schedule for next week:
July 10, Mon – Special Non-Working Holiday, Santa Rosa, Laguna Cityhood Anniversary
July 11, Tue @ 9:00 A.M. – Rose Ceremony (for Class 1 and new students from Class 2 to Class 12)
July 11, Tue @ 10:30 A.M. – Upper School Parents and Students Orientation with their Class Sponsors
July 12, Wed – Upper School Regular Schedule (whole day)
July 12, Wed – Kindergarten and Grade School Class Orientations with their Main Teachers (half day)
July 13, Thu – Kindergarten and Grade School Regular Schedule (half day because of our regular Thursday Faculty meetings)
July 14, Fri – Kindergarten, Grade School and Upper School Regular Schedule (whole day for Classes 3-12)
Main Teachers and Class Sponsors will have different schedules for Class Parent Orientations.

A late enrollment fee of P5,000 per student will be charged after July 11.
