Arlene joined AWS as a teacher for Middle School English and Filipino language practice skills classes in 2015. She has been an English and Humanities Upper School Teacher and a Sponsor Teacher to Anahaw Class for the past three years. She has attended the Asian Teacher Trainings (ATT) at AWS and other Waldorf Steiner talks and trainings through the years.
Arlene grew up in Manila and has a Masters Degree in Rudolf Steiner Education from St. Scholastica’s College Manila, Batch 2013. She finished her Upper School at PAREF Woodrose School in Muntinlupa, earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Major in Management, and is a recipient of the University Leadership Award from Silliman University in Dumaguete.
Her work experience includes serving as member of the Board of Regents of the Negros Oriental State University, as representative of the Private Sector for two full terms (2009-2013). Her greatest treasures are her three children David, Hannah and Nathan.
