CHERYL FAJARDO
Class 1 Bituan
Cheryl has been an Assistant Teacher in AWS for few years. She began as a Kindergarten Assistant in Gumamela, Narra and Daisy classes for few years before she her current post as Assistant Teacher in the Lower School. She has assisted in Class 1, Class 2 and Class 5 movement and main lessons classes. Her passion is to help young children and impart the art of movement to them.
Prior to her work in AWS, she trained as a yoga teacher alongside Imee Contreras, an AWS parent. She met AWS and Waldorf Steiner education through Imee. After observing in our Kindergarten, Cheryl became more interested to learn more about Waldorf Steiner education. She has attended the Intensive Early Childhood Waldorf Steiner Education Course of RStEP with Bella and Jake Tan, all the Asian Teacher Training workshops (ATT) held at AWS, the Waldorf International Teachers Conference in Thailand, Eurythmy workshops of Adam Chan in Manila and Bothmer Movement Training with Kevin Davidson.
