KATRINA MENDIORO
Class 6 Dandelion
As Main Teacher for Dandelion Class, Kat believes that her daily work in class is a profound expression of her curiosity, creativity, passion for teaching and performing, and her love for children. Kat was born and raised in Los Banos, Laguna. She graduated from University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication Magna Cum Laude. Her Waldorf Steiner journey began in 2017 after she completed her studies and taught in an international High School in Denmark.
Kat completed the Early Childhood Teacher Training at Rudolf Steiner Education in the Philippines (RStEP) with Bella Tan, Grade School Waldorf Teacher Trainings at Gamot Cogon Institute (GCI) in Iloilo, and Asian Teachers Waldorf Conference (AWTC) in Bangkok, Thailand. She attends the Asian Teacher Trainings (ATT) held each year at AWS, is currently undergoing a series of Bothmer Gymnastics Trainings, and aspires to complete her LET this year.
In her spare time, Kat enjoys devouring books, singing with a ukulele, travelling and exploring unknown beaches, and finding unique ways to learn more about the world.
