MICHELLE BRAGA
Class 7 Cosmos
Michelle’s first teaching experience was at an International School in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, Metro Manila. After almost two years as a Pre-School teacher, she took a big step and seized the took this opportunity to become a Grade School Teacher at a Waldorf Steiner school. Although Michelle is new to the Waldorf Steiner approach, she looks forward to discover more about a holistic approach to education. This summer, she attended the Asian Teacher Training (ATT), the Metamorphosis workshops, and the Waldorf Painting workshop of Van James. Michelle strongly believes that to be a teacher is a special calling to help mold young ones to grow and be, to nurture them, and show them that they are loved.
Michelle was born and raised in the Philippines. She obtained her degree in Human Resource Management at De La Salle – College of St. Benilde in 2018 and worked as an HR Associate for a year after she graduated. Michelle has always had a heart for children, and when she became a mom, she realized that she enjoyed teaching kids and being a part of their learning journey.
During her free time, Michelle loves to spend time with her family, and play musical instruments such as the piano, guitar and ukulele. She is adventurous, warm-hearted, and has a passion for photography and video editing. As she follows her passion to teach, her next goal is to be a licensed teacher and to be able to grow more as an educator in a Waldorf school community.
