After more than 15 years in the culinary industry, Tr OJ took an early retirement from the corporate culinary industry, in just a few weeks, Tr OJ began another journey as an organic farmer and advocate, enrolling in prestigious Organic Agriculture course in UP Open University and other OA learning sites of organic farmers, attending various farming seminars by government institutions and learning about Organic Agriculture, Permaculture and Biodynamic Farming thru friends and mentors, while still pursuing his culinary arts passion privately, Tr OJ began doing VIP caterings and processing his farm’s produce which was native pigs for lechon production at Likasaka Maquiling.

After learning about AWS thru a collaboration between AWS parents, the New Wave Farmers developed a Farm and Nature Studies Curriculum for AWS and that was when Tr OJ began teaching Gardening and Science Blocks mainly Botany and Physics for Middle School and Upper School classes. He has been attending the ATT since 2017, a few book studies with online seminars and trainings to further his Waldorf Steiner education. He is also a part time instructor for Center for Culinary Arts, Manila, teaching online sessions on Fundamentals of Food Entrepreneurship. He also operates his small businesses namely Koshinero’s Lechon Baboy Station, Baki’s Aqua Farm, and Bulliez & Bunniez Kennel and Cuniculture.
