Coach Karen Jaleco is a Faculty at AWS with 13 years of experience as Physical Education Teacher and Coach.
She is a former ranked no. 1 Philippine National Womens Tennis Team and a 5 times UAAP Women University of the Philippines Table Tennis Team Champion from 1996-2000. University of the Phillppines Gawad Chancellor Awardee as Pinakamahusay na atleta in Table Tennis, 3 times Most Valuable Player in the UAAP Season 1998-2000. 4 times Bronzed Maedalist in the Asean Univerisry Fames held in Bamgkok Thailand and the Philippines. A multi awarded and bemadalled athlete in many Natiional & International Table Tennis Competiton such as Sea Games, World Championships, Asean Champiniships and Asean Univesity Games. She recently won Silver medal and Bronze Medal in the US Open Table Tennis Championship held in Ontario California.in the hardbat events.
Currently shes the only one in the Philippines that has earned the highest level of Coaching accreditation as an International Table Tennis Federation Accredited Coach as Level 1 Coach and Paralympic Table Tennis, Level 2 star and Level 3 star in the Philippines and has a coaching scholarship opportunity to earned scholarhip in the ITTF HighPerfomrance Coaching Course in Europe or Asia. She has been involved in many seminars abroad and recently served as rhe Deputy Tournament Director of the US Open and US National Table Tennis Champinoshios held in Forthwrorth Texas and Ontario California.
She has been invited by Department of Education, Philippines Sports Commision Phillippine Sports Institute as the National Course Conductor and Resource person in Table Tennis and responsible for the National.Accreditation of the Coaches in the Regional & National Level. She is also part of in the Developmental Programs of the Philippine Table Tennis Federation in developing youth programs and Coaching Development through sports clinics and coaching sports development programs.
