My Teaching Journey:
As with most callings, mine gave me opportunities to bring connections , spread love , and give hope for humanity. I taught in Lucena City (different traditional schools) for 15 years . When we decided to stay in Sta. Rosa, my teaching journey did not end. I learned about Acacia Waldorf School from one of my best friends (she lives nearby). That time, my husband and I were searching for a school for our son,Samuel. We already had one in mind then but after attending the AWS Open House and listened to the talks and sharings of the teachers and parents, we considered this curriculum for our son. We brought Sam here and while at the campus he told us that he loves the school! Sam chose AWS and Teacher Trina ! Favorably, I was invited to teach (SY 2011-2014, 2017 -present)! I was also fortunate to teach HS History at St. Scholastica’s College, Westgrove prior to Acacia Waldorf School.

AWS: (Before I became MT) Filipino tracks 4-8, Math tracks, taught some blocks (Farming, Algebra, Measurement, Philippine History), tutorials, member of the College of Teachers (2012 – 2014/ December of 2014 , I left to take good care of my parents)

My mission and prayer:
I will do my best to prepare as a teacher by keeping in mind and heart that I could only expect my students to work hard if I do the same. I am an encourager and how I would love to see my students develop their unique capacities, feel fulfilled, and grateful as they discover and explore new ideas and experiences. As I provide a loving, nurturing , safe and fun learning environment to my students, may it help them focus on positive and responsible behavior.

My interests: Music and Arts, Calligraphy and Hand Lettering, cooking for my loved ones, participating in outreach activities/ ministry I love to spend time with my dog, Snickers!
